Reham Farouk

Chief Executive Officer

DSC_2612Graduating from the American University in Cairo, AUC, majoring in Business Administration with high honors in 1997, she started her career as a Local Counterpart Consultant for Technopolis – UK. She then held the position of Financial Manager for the Private Sector Development Program, PSDP, an EU-funded project in Egypt. She obtained her Master’s Degree of Business in Administration (MBA) from AUC in 2000. During the same year, she joined Save the Children – USA-Egypt Field Office as Project Officer. Throughout 2001, she was a freelance consultant for CARE-Egypt as well as The Egyptian Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ESMA). Starting 2003 and up till now, she has been certified as a Trainer, Master Trainer, and Resource Person for numerous training courses including Product Development, Delinquency Management and Interest Rate Setting, Making Microfinance Work, and Operational Risk Management at Sanabel, the Microfinance Network of the Arab Countries.  In addition, she is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development/UK. Since 2001 until present, she has been working as Chief Executive Officer of Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation.    



Hala Ali

Finance and Administrative Director

Graduating from the Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration, Helwan University in 1985, she worked for the Egyptian Kuwaiti Engineer Office in Egypt. She held the position of Accountant for four years. In 1989 she worked as Accountant at National Agricultural Research Project, NARP, a USAID-funded project in Egypt.  During 1994 she joined  Save the Children – USA – Egypt Field Office as Senior Accountant. She was then posted in 1999 by Save the Children in their office in Jordan as Finance and Administration Manager for three months. During the same year, she held the position of Chief Accountant at NGO Service Center, a USAID-funded project. Since 2001 until present, she has been working as Finance and Administration Director at Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation in Egypt. Throughout her career, she participated in various training programs locally, regionally and internationally, such as the Boulder Program, CGAP Microfinance Business Planning Program, and Sun System Accounting Package.    




Engy Essam

IT Director

Graduating from the Faculty of Engineering, Computer Dept, Ain Shams University in Cairo in 2001, she joined the Information Technology Institute Program and completed the System Software Development Diploma in 2002, thus becoming a certified trainer at IBM Egypt. In January 2004, she joined Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation as MIS Officer. In 2009, she got promoted to become IT Director. In addition, she attended numerous local and international microfinance training courses and MIS TOT courses.






Noha Elsayed

Marketing & Communications Director

11745603_10207574874439651_8413695474450180858_nGraduating with a BA degree in Mass Communications from the American University in Cairo, in 1992, she has worked for the European Union, USAID, UNDP and consulting firms in Egypt and the UK. Throughout her career, she has been in close cooperation with a powerful network of business related private sector companies, ministries, government agencies, NGOs, donor agencies operating in Egypt and media experts in the Arab region. In 2011, she joined Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation as a Marketing & Communications Director.





Bishoy Sedhom

Risk Director

BishoyGraduating from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shames University in 2003, he has started his professional career in September 2003 as Internal Auditor at LEAD Foundation (under USAID sponsorship). He then joined KPMG (Saudi Arabia) in 2006 as Internal Audit Supervisor at the Risk Advisory Section. He provided internal audit, risk & compliance services to multiple clients within different industries in the Middle East and gulf region i.e. Egypt, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Yemen. During 2006, he earned the designation of Certified Internal Auditor, CIA from the IIA Institution, Florida, USA. In the mid of 2012 he held his first managerial position as Internal Control Manager at Kuwait Finance House Bank. After 11 years of experience in the risk, compliance and internal audit services, he joined Al Tadamun Microfiance Foundation in September 2014 as Internal Audit Manager and in 2016 became Risk Director. 




Samhar Momtaz

Human Resources Director


SONY DSCGraduating from the Faculty of Foreign Trade, Helwan University in 1988, he has over 25 of years experience in the international NGO sector. In 1990, he joined Save the Children – US in Egypt as Finance and Admin Coordinator. In 2003, he was posted by Save the Children as Financial and Administration Manager. In 2007, he joined Al Tadamum Microfinance Foundation as Chief Controller. He moved to Qatar in 2011 and worked as Chief Internal Auditor in Qatar Charity Foundation HQ.  In 2012, he rejoined Save the Children as Financial and Administration Manager at MCHIP/SMART (USAID funded project). Throughout his career he gained extensive knowledge of various financial experiences. He worked in multi-cultures and inter-disciplinary teams as he worked with Europeans, US citizens, Arabs and Africans. He gained considerable experience with local NGOs, CDAs and CSOs in Egypt and Qatar. In January 2015, He rejoined Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation as HR Manager.
