In another scenario, she would have been retiring by now, especially after turning 61 years old, yet Yousreya didn’t abide by her age and chose to work hard. Yousreya is married with one son aged 35. Her son works in Jordon and her husband works as a fruit seller.  However, she decided to be an effective member in her small family.

Yousreya joined Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation in 2006. Her project is producing bed sets that includes bed sheets and pillow cases and sells them to other sellers with the wholesale price. Sometimes, she sells directly to clients upon request. She goes to El Hussein district weekly to buy raw material which includes; the fabrics, satin, chiffon, glue and threads.  She works alone in the project from home.

She used her last loan to buy raw material. Youssreya produces up to 5 bed sets per week. Her best sale season is in during the holy month of Ramadan. Yousreya’s dreams to expand her project and to employ people with her to increase production.
